Yeah, I got a message exactly like it. Didn't trust it since they want my Discord info because they "can't link a username because the bsky search keeps bringing up your account" or something dodgy like that. Don't click on any links.

I ended up talking to one of the hacked accounts on discord. Then they attempted to hit me with the "accidentally reported" shtick, to which I immediately called out their bullshit and got blocked not long after. lmao

I kept trying to ring them on Discord, but they blocked me after my second attempt. It's clear that they don't like the fact that I'm smart enough to call out their bullshit.

I got similar saying they reported me and I needed to talk to a bsky admin and here's his discord address to add him and get the report removed. I went through with it and added the guy for fun and told him I'm impressed at his hustle it's more dogshit than the average person and he blocked me.

"I accidentally reported you instead of the imposter" is a really common scam these days. The next step is to give you a short time limit to prevent account deletion and a 3rd party "support" account to give all your details to. Which they then use to take over.

Yes it is, good eye! If another person were impersonating you, a good Samaritan would just link the account. The drumming up of false urgency is a big clue

Or screenshot for you, since impersonator accounts will often block the real one so they don't notice. But for sure that dm is sketchy.

This is in fact a common scam message. They frequently used hacked accounts, so if it comes from a friend, be wary.

Impersonation gets attended to here so you’d just report it and it will be dealt with
