BBC Wales has always had an incestuous relationship with the WRU. In years gone by, The Western Mail and its hack client journalists were just as bad. Nowadays, the young WOL journalists are much better, but BBC Wales / Scrum V is still phoning in the analysis and doing the WRU's bidding.
