I am 63 and disabled. And right now I am really scared and despairing and feeling hopeless about today’s vote. Can I please get some sort of encouragement please. I really need it right now. Please do not kick me when I’m down.

They delayed the cuts in Medicaid until 2027 because of the midterms so you'll be good til then.

Hey, I have a disability too, I'm 68 and working because I'm just hard of hearing with learning disabilities. If you can garden in a pot, you can grow cherry tomatoes on a pole. There are spray on pollen replacements

If you look at history, it’s times just like these that propelled America to overcome adversity and move forward to enact much needed change. Democracy is always under attack. It’s time for a new generation of leaders who know how to fight for us. We can make that happen if we vote them in.

I’m in the same boat. I turn 64 this month and have a 90% VA disability rating. I have cancer. My medicine is $22,000 per month. It’s made in Switzerland. If dick head Trump puts tariffs on pharmaceuticals from Switzerland, I don’t know if my insurance will cover it. I’m retired on a fixed income.

I’m praying we can flip Congress in 2026 and they can turn some of it around. Also a lot of the things in this bill don’t go into effect immediately. That being said we will stop at nothing to get them out.
