Tell America, the only country which has used atomic bombs killing over 150000 people in one instance and over 200000 affected in many ways. USA used the atomic bombs against one of the smallest country because the small country was brave and strong. USA could not compete with conventional weapons.
The USA decided, instead of sending more Americans to die on the beaches of the Japanese mainland, that they would show off their new weapon and bring an end to the war. Fun fact: at the time, the USA only had two operational bombs. Had the Japanese not surrendered, we’d had to have made another one
Several weeks before the US dropped the 1st ⚛️ on Hiroshima, the admin was notified that they had 7 more ready.
“One of the smallest countries”? Are you trying to minimize the strength of Japan during WWII? Do you think that they were just some helpless country getting picked on by the USA? We could have ended up defeating the Japanese with conventional weapons at a great loss of American lives.
That is exactly the point. Guess how many Americans were lost in Vietnam. A futile lost war.

I never said defenseless. But you are correct. They were all civilians who were not warriors that America killed in Japan.
That means you agree there were now tactical planning and none were braver the the Japanese. Guess what the result was in Vietnam. USA LOST the war even with advanced henious weapons like cluster bombs NAPAM phosphorous etc. LOST.
We now know that the USA wasn’t fighting only Vietnamese communists. China and the Soviet Union had regular soldiers in the fight and were supplying the North Vietnamese. Let me guess, you must be rooting for the Russians, with North Koreans and Chinese soldiers fighting along side them in Ukraine?
Not really. USA had no business to enter the war in Vietnam. USA lost the war and Vietnam is perhaps the same as before
