You need to get a higher media profile. The LibDems were yet again conspicuous by their absence from Trevor Phillips this weekend. Try a weekly briefing. No gimmicks. Just simple, understandable rebuttals of Reform bullshit and media-friendly presentation of LibDem vision.
Put plenty of empathy in there, as that's the quality most of the country have but almost none of the coverage has. Make it appear reliably, and folks will thirst for it, including newsie types wanting quick bites.
the gimmicks in the election campaign were to get them coverage - it worked and they won 72 seats - I suspect if LDs had a weekly briefing press conference with no gimmicks the press would ignore them.
Not if they did it properly.
