Bet they were the first to whine about how Europe should be the ones funding Ukraine's defence. They thought they could get rid of the leverage and still keep the power. You don't get to be an isolationist superpower.

They don't think we need allies. They support defunding USAID. They don't know or care what soft power is. Most of them operate intellectually on a 4th grade level.

If they don't believe Ukraine is an ally, why would they support Zelenskyy meeting Trump? Surely the European leaders and Zelenskyy should be the ones meeting with Putin (or not)? I always thought isolationism meant not getting involved 🤔
