Okay, I'm all for never mowing again because I hate yard work, but what is the solution in my big, mosquito breeding unkempt backyard?

homegrownnationalpark.org/mosquito-buc... This might help. But mosquitos can travel quite a ways, so it's no guarantee of relief. In general, pests like ticks and mosquitos thrive where there's a lack of biodiversity. Adding native plants and creating habitat for a variety of insects and wildlife,

will attract mosquito eating critters and help reduce their population. When you're outside, you can also have a fan blowing on you - they're not strong flyers.

Earlier in the year, someone was planning a mosquito dunk campaign. Or get a gardener to set up a low maintenance native plant garden that either attracts animals that eat insects or includes plants that deter them

I dug up all my weed-grass lawn in the back and put down weed barriers and mulch. I have dogs, so it works out for them to run around. I have native plants back there along my patio and house, but NO GRASS! Doing same to the front. Slowly but surely!
