I currently teach in higher education but I have taught K-12 and educational philosophy courses. I’ve been in the room where folks (educators, parents, admins) have discussed the merits of these kinds of policies and how best to apply them. What grade level do YOU teach? What are your credentials?

I used to teach high school science before burning out because of people like you. Your attitude was the dominant attitude and the view which produced one of the most illiterate generations since the introduction of compulsory education

Idk man, I don’t think a policy aimed at teaching children responsibility with their devices is responsible for “one of the most illiterate generations since the introduction of compulsory education.” I think there’s a whole bunch of other stuff, like defunding public education, charter schools…

Like, I think there’s other things beyond what I am doing (and has worked so far) that have affected student learning in this moment.
