This is an absolute horror show! I don't understand where our compassion and love has gone? Im a survivor of abuse myself and as a Psychologist I work with women survivors on a daily basis. I am absolutely a supporter of the safety of women and girls and completely understand the ramifications
I know that was a bit ranty, and so may not be too helpful. But attacking folks who look different rather than dealing with the FAR bigger issue of protecting women and girls from violence and abuse from by far mainly white British men is madness! 83% of grooming gangs are white British! Facts tho!
I completely agree with you.
So the message is - only white British men can attack 'our' women! There are abusive folks in every community- and this is absolutely unacceptable and needs policing! I'm far more scared of places with St George's flags, than men of colour. Only white British men have ever attacked or abused me.
When this is not prioritised! Having an adjudicated rapist in the White House makes the risk of women and girls being sexually or violently attacked even higher. 2 out of 5 of the folks convicted from last years riots had convictions for abuse of women. And it's sadly bloody hard to get a conviction
