I am considering replaying XV. For a little context I currently place XV as my least favorite Final Fantasy game. But I'm looking to give games second chances, and I already own it so why not? I'm undecided but it's in consideration for my next game.
Played on release and thought it was... ok, but something tells me this one won't age well, especially after having experienced upgrades like FFVII Remake's combat. It's intimate, emotional, and you can tell people put their hearts into it, but with the development hell it just couldn't get there.
Can always try, don’t have to commit. I did the same And was not successful 😅 enjoyed it on initial play, but its flaws stuck out more with time. But maybe your second trip will be different, gotta try to know 🫡
Whenever I do give it another chance I'll be going into it with and open mind and no expectations. If I don't like it them I'll drop it like I did P5
The add on and fixes makes it way better than when it was first released tbh you can always try for a bit then give it a big NAHHHH 🤣
As the worst is crazy, I'd consider it one of the best. It's definitely better than 16, at least.
16 is still very low for me but I still have it above 15
Thats fair; ive noticed 15 is always polarizing, you either love it immensely or its the worst final fantasy
It's pretty much the same thing with 13, which is a game I love. I'm interested in giving 15 another try without any expectations. Maybe I'll end up on the side who loves it, who knows?

I just remember hating the combat, not really caring about the story or characters, and finding the open world to feel bland and lifeless.

I have. I also wasn't very big on it, but I liked it over XV
