Ugh that’s awful. I haven’t finished this one yet but it definitely seems aimed at telling the real truth about Katrina. One of the first things you see is “20 years later, this isn’t a retelling( this is a reckoning.”

HK literally took the culture out of NOLA. I found it hilarious how the envelopeans tried to co-opt that culture when the Saints won the super bowl. All that partying and "pretending" to be unified for the cameras felt forced when I watched it....

Also, take into consideration, NOLA went from being a predominantly black city to not; turning all their PUBLIC SCHOOLS (save 1) into charter schools; demolishing all their PJ'S that saw no damage from HK. How reTHUGlicans used a natural disaster to control a blue city....
