Maybe he’s thinking of the War of 1812 in which both sides agreed to return to pre-war borders. In which case, ok.

Yeah I don’t think that’s what he was referring to.
Silly me. I thot Canada won the War of 1812 (1812-15) but Canada didn't exist yet. It was the British who burned the Capitol during War of 1812 in retaliation for Americans burning the Canadian capitol at York (Toronto) on April 27, 1813. Canada rebuilt capitol in Ottawa (Bytown)
Just wait a little. They'll rewrite it all. (Not a joke.)
The idea that JD Vance 'thinks'. 😂 Nice one Dan!
"Woe to the vanquished" is one of the older records of a post-war negotiation we have remaining
It’s very generous of you to bestow upon him the capacity for thought.
Or maybe he’s just an idiot
Third Punic War. Carthage got a good deal out of that one, right?
Will the negotiated settlement this time come before or after the White House is burnt down?
I would argue that the war of 1812's outcome was to ensure that Upper Canada remained British and prevented northern expansion by the war hawks in Congress.
Vance's Ivy League education was a waste of his time and money. He doesn't care about facts that don't support his (and Russia's) talking points.
