Not just brown people. Sadly, there are lots of Black and brown people who support DDT. The percentage is a lot smaller than among White people, but it is not insignificant. Pretending that his support is confined to White, rural, uneducated, and Southern voters is both false and dangerous.

There’s no reason to blame anyone but white people for Trump. And it’s definitely not just the rural ones. And it’s exactly bc of the percentages you mentioned.

It is. It's shocking, but also in some ways not surprising. Of course, most brown people or people with recent immigrants in their family didn't vote for him. But a sizable chunk did, and many of them have been shedding tears that the cruelty they wanted inflicted on others has now come to them.

Trump won the dumb vote. There isn’t any other way to say it. It wasn’t the smart vote, the white vote, or anything else. The only things is, he magically pulled off winning the bullet ballot votes in just the swing States at a rate of more than 20 (up to 50) times normal. That ain’t right…🤔

I think in general unfortunately over 80 % in a society are completely apolitical and more interested in lifestyle topics, consumerism and entertainment I count in Party, Music festivals, Drinking etc in the latter also. It’s the old saying as long people have Bread and Games they won’t stand up
