A bicyclist died Saturday after being transported by air to Stanford Medical Center due to a crash involving a pickup truck at the intersection of Highways 35 and 84 in Woodside, police said.

Did the bike collide with the pickup or did the pickup hit the bike? I would tend to guess it would be a lot more difficult for a cyclist to die running into a pickup than the other way around.
