I think Democrats need to take ownership of the “Democratic Socialist “ name and description. Make republicans talk about which of the policies they want to end. Social Security? Medicare and Medicaid? Unemployment insurance? Public education? Police? Fire depts, roads, universities?

yes! i wish they would. but many of them (neoliberals) are so in bed with corporations & corp interests & AIPAC … they seem to rather watch our ship sink than say the obvious. “psst. Socialism is not a bad word. It’s time we unveil the truth.” … i wish. i hope.
