It's been a weird growing season. I had much better success last year container gardening than this summer with the same plants. Not nearly the yield.

We had 4 jalapeΓ±os peppers this year. And tasted amazing.π
I wasnβt even going to grow peppers but the hardware store gave away free plants and I had some spare grow bags! Iβve got a few peppers on each plant but these are the first that have ripened
my first time growing food but from the Portland gardeners subreddit it sounds like many people have had slow years! probably because things have been so mild. Iβm looking forward to next year already now that I have some practice under my belt
I have a few Serrano plants going and the yield is pretty good but last year I had 4x the yield. Phoebe been a different variety but nothing is growing like last year for me.
What about your Alien/Predator peppers?
Iβm going to do some research on seeds that were bred specifically to be grown in the northwest for next year!
I've had great luck this year with Thai peppers.
Highly recommend checking out Adaptive Seeds. I buy my plants from a guy who originally got his seed from them. www.adaptiveseeds.com/seeds/vegeta...
