Not defending Trump at all, but this doesn't sound like "slavery". It sounds more like a guest worker type thing.

You mean like a green card? That allows you to work in the US, and taxes are taken out if your pay? Thats what they had and are being thrown into detention centers. Now if the FARMER was paying them under the table because they had no green card, that farmer should go with them.

Not really. Not that I think a guest worker is a good idea, because it's been tried before and it doesn't work.
