Won't say who, but It's been over a year since I got scammed by a va I really admired. I spent half a year last year making art for them only to be ghosted without getting paid. I learned a lot from it and I'm more strict with payments now, but it still stings.
Yeah that dude does not have the best personal record to start with. You may have honestly dodged a bullet in the long run
