1/2 Which is why Trump needs a provocation to deploy military against citizens opposing him, a Reichstag fire. I surmise it will be attacks on ICE. Even if indicia of fascism are not entirely present now, we’re sliding towards it—& next elections will show if he’s ready to accept loss: *he’s not.*
2/2 In fact, query whether Trump Gang can even allow election loss now, given the consequences that await: accountability for massive crypto fraud, attys losing licenses (& livelihoods), weaponization of law enforcement payback, & more. Trump Gang may already be cornered & forced to steal elections.
Parenthetically: He looks very sick, and he's quite old obviously. But if he does live long enough to try to run again in 2028, I'll be interested to see how he tries to justify that. And if the courts allow it.
