And therein lies rub: if, as alleged, this is blanket order to appeal irrespective of merits, offenders—subordinate lawyers & supervisors—shld face severe remedies: *courts & disciplinary authorities must act.* This passage shows alleged offenders know it: *time for discovery followed by hearing.*

P.S. Must be emphasized: if our courts & disciplinary authorities are not going to enforce ethical rules in cases where attorneys engage in egregious behavior, we might as well shred the rules & openly embrace the law of the jungle.
