Agreed so what do we do? That is my question. Protests, sure. Doing it on Monday. Town Halls, sure, went to one today. But it isn't enough.
Be very cautious about protests after a fascist takeover. I have not had a high opinion of protests in America for a while, in fact; they wound and run out the finances of resistant people, and the people in charge just double down on the policy. Protests only work when leaders have a heart.
Marie Antoinette begs to differ. We are an outrageously armed, historically violent culture. I don’t see it coming to full scale Union/Confederate action but it will involve at least people in the streets. We’ve been here to an extent before in the 60s.
What occurred in that historical incident was not a protest, at least not in the modern sense of the word.
