I only started knitting this past January (oh, for some reason, I guess) and I'm a total beginner, but I hope to be as good as you are.

I just started this past December! I did have some crochet experience from college but other than that I was a total beginner. After two scarves (a plain and a Sophie scarf), the Step by Step sweater by Florence was my first sweater. The video support helps! Just dive in!
