It's eye-opening, the talent that comes out of MST3K! Even more amazing is what could have been for Squirm: for the main trio, they originally cast Martin Sheen for the lead part of Mick, and Kim Basinger and Sly Stallone auditioned for the parts of Geri and the worm farmer Roger, respectively!

And who could forget James Earl Jones, Donald Pleasance, Mamie Van Doren, Christopher Lee, John Phillip Law, the Paper Chase guy, Beau Bridges, Jack Palance… Oh.
