I’m hoping that Canada will switch its car manufacturing dependence on the US, and maybe make deals with China for EV production (superior EVs). But we need to diversify our friend group. We already started shipping oil to China.

We still need to be wary of China as a single party dictatorship who has been found meddling in Canadian politics. But we certainly need to massively diversify our export partners so that no single country can ever threaten us again and China will play a large roll in that.
