After living in a city for so long, I kinda miss our old rural long addresses where it was like a flowchart of proximity. At work I often see Roger Warnes trucks based in Gt. Dunham near Dereham but the address on the side of their wagons is Great Dunham King's Lynn PE32 2LQ Peterborough postcode?
Yeah Peterborough postcodes go out to West Norfolk inc Swaffham, Lynn and Hunstanton and then switch to Norwich (NR)
Yeah, my village Tilney is PE34, Lynn is PE30 at least when I lived there, and I think Dereham is NR but Thetford is IP for Ipswich. Skegness and beyond is still PE.
Thetford is suffolk: that whole county line is split between Norwich and Ipswich. I BELIEVE that Peterborough is one of the biggest postal codes
I'm L4 now in an after-thought county (Merseyside) that I think I'm actually older than as I was born before the 1974 implemented metropolitan counties?
