The law remains the same. Judges are the same. Juries remain in place. Martial law typically involves different, stricter rules and often more summary military tribunals.

Immigration judges are not real judges--they are part of the executive branch. So replacing them with JAGs is I suspect legal. May not be worse for applicants, as JAGs have a job to go back to if they annoy ICE. Appeals go to real judges If people get time to file them (like with ordinary IJs).

Moreover, they've removed due process for "illegals", and since ICE can decide anyone is illegal, there's no due process for anyone. Anyone can be hauled in front of a military tribunal and suffer any fate.

Let's say one of these guys snags me off the street. A US citizen born here. I get no due process and they say my passport and birth certificate are forged. Jury is some thug on the street. Just because all of those things are in place doesn't mean they use or respect them. They haven't so far.
