This article, both misunderstood AND enraging, inspired me to start posting photos of healthy vegan food I regularly put in front of my family. This morning breakfast was porridge (made with water + soya milk) + toast with peanut butter, strawberries + banana #VeganWeek Am I an influencer now?

I’m not a fan of peanut butter, but I do love that plate! I focus on eating local and in season (I live in a rural area with many small-scale organic farms). So I’m still an omnivore but I eat meat rarely. And I’ll eat avocados and bananas and citrus fruit. Also I love yoghurt…. I make my own.

Such drivel from the FT. It suggests that we’re all eating things on a whim. Yet another ploy about a healthy diet is to mock it and make it appear as those who speak about it are all feeble minded fools. This inversion ploy sways the gullible and makes them fear being seen as outdated.

TBF to Henry Mance, he is vegan after very extensive research for his excellent book on the topic. I share his pain at the thought veganism was simply a fad for many people. FWIW I'm not totally vegan, it's simply not practical all the time, but it would be nice if we could acknowledge the benefits
