And in the process, those (non)voters consigned Palestinians to an even worse fate. Nothing is more stupid than locking yourself out of the house because you don’t like your seat at the table. The US electorate is a myopic mess.

That's the weakness caused by skipping primaries. Harris was stuck with (and embraced) Biden's contradictory position (Aid to Gaza, Weapons to Israel). If Biden made the decision not to run earlier, Dems would have had access to a candidate who didn't have that baggage.
I’m sorry but that perceived baggage in no way justifies the installation of the rapist and felon into that office. Not even for a second. Harris was by far the best choice, period.
She was the lesser of two Hitlers, if you will. And yet you still lost, so what does that teach us about voting for the lesser of two Hitlers? Will you learn anything, or will you vote for the Cheney/Fetterman "Cleanse Gaza Faster" 2028 campaign?
Trump is objectively worse than Harris on Gaza - most US politicians are bad on this but Trump literally wouldn't care if everyone in Gaza was killed. And Trump is explicitly pro-Russia - Russia has killed even more in Ukraine than Israel has in Gaza, but you ignore this. Curious.
I agree with everything you just said. So why did Kamala lose to him? Because she was in power doing the genocide and he wasn't, which makes him? Repeat after me, class! "The lesser of two evils." Congrats on willingly handing him that dubious title y'all have proudly worn my entire adult life.
But Trump was always the greater or two evils - anyone who thought he might be better than Harris on Gaza was very stupid. This was all entirely predictable pre-election - none of it is a shock.
He was the greater evil... until Kamala backed a literal genocide. Trump didn't do that. The Blue candy-coated team holding up the "lesser evil" signs did that. Would you prefer I arrest the serial killer with the pile of vicitms, or that other guy who looks like he might do worse someday maybe?
Trump was always the greater evil. Harris was basically following the standard US approach (let Israel get away with most things), Trump's approach is the erasure of the Palestinians - it's objectively worse. And there is Ukraine...
Did you imagine when faced with a literal genocide committed by your own representatives, you'd be defending it as status quo? If those exact same words would have made you a useful idiot for Nazi Germany in the 1930's, what do they make you for Zionist Israel's genocide in 2025?
I'm not saying it's a good situation, but the choice in November was a) ongoing destruction in Gaza or b) the complete erasure of the Palestinians in that land. Option b) is worse than a). I wish that the Democrats were better on this, but Trump getting in wasn't the answer.
Yeah well now we have the greater of two Hitlers in office again, supporting genocide with a platinum ethic cleansing plan. Primaries are there for a reason. Candidates have to show they can win the primaries without courting the pro Israel vote. If they can't, then sadly, that's where America is.
I think that's where the US is - the most generous interpretation of November was that many Americans didn't understand what they were voting for, i.e. they didn't bother to spend 5 mins looking into the candidates, the absolute minimum required for a democracy to work.
The pro Palestine voters tried to show their numbers. In Dearborn, MI, Stein won by a good margin on Palestine rights ticket. Combined with people who stayed home, Harris may have lost MI on the issue. Will Dems get the message? So far doesn't seem like after yesterday's vote.
And those pro-Palestinian voters/non-voters consigned Palestinians to oblivion with the orange felon. SMH
I am so fucking sick of you genocide apologists. "Sure, we turned in Anne Frank to the gestapo, but just imagine what the other guys would have done!"
Right, and I guess there is no point in continuing to dissect it. She lost. Gotta do better next time.
