we are coming up on two years since nearly 2 dozen residents of @golden.house.gov district were slaughtered in maines worst mass shooting ever, two years since Golden said he was wrong on guns. Two years of Golden doing nothing, proposing no helpful legislation, no town halls.
this is part of why i have so much trepidation about @grahamformaine.bsky.social - i want to believe in him, but Golden ran on M4A in 2018 and was sold with many of the same descriptors as Graham. we need people with spines, not cowards like Golden. what will you do on this issue, mr Platner?
I had a long conversation with the before he had ever considered running. IMO this guy is no Golden.
I am really hoping so! I worry that a lot of people seem to think golden ran as the guy he is now but he didn't! His 2018 run started almost identically to this, in some ways word for word identical - a lot of people i trust have vouched for Platner so far though, which is really heartening
