Share cropping is Jim Crow slavery. It still exists to this day. Tbs 12 year olds didn't have the choice in the matter. Its forced rape then forced rape now. 12 year olds shouldn't have to endure rape.

It’s unclear by her statements (& odd history of controversy), what her grandmothers situation/location was. It’s a rare a story to hear of one’s grandmother or great grandmother happily married off at age 12 by 1939. She’s dead wrong that it’s just a “recent taboo” to call it child rape😔🤬

12 year olds can’t consent to something they don’t understand! Like sex with someone of limited mental capacity. It’s rape. Period.
