At this point, I'm after about 40 years of unqualified dingdongs trying to push some kind of new masculinity. We had "the new sensitive man" around 1980, followed by Bly and the "Men's Movement," and it's been an endless asshole cycle since. It needs to end, and I ain't ruling out violence.
