Okay, you obviously don't get it. My main concern with Microsoft isn't vulns for third party attacks. πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Yikes! MICROSOFT ITSELF IS A CYBER THREAT ACTOR. As a cybersecurity professor I can tell you, everyone who trusts Silicon Valley is a dangerous cybersecurity practitioner.

Microsoft is indistinguishable from an APT and they are a bigger threat to most individuals than any β€œcyber crime” group on earth

Been following the public side a little bit and it's a perfect example of manufactured consent: There's a ton of news about Fancy Bear and Cozy Bear since it makes for really good TV and content all of it suddenly gaining a lot of notoriety only *after* Snowden came out talking about PRISM

That was a decade and a half ago by the way but basically nobody even brings it up without talking about Russian or Chinese hackers that at the best of cases, perfectly following the rhethoric the west is presenting, it's just feeding of the scraps of social media the US has FULL ACCESS to.

Microsoft has been a cyber threat actor since at least the inception of publicly available internet. Kinda gobsmacked that anyone now would try to frame it as them "creating gaps at times".

I mean shit, I remember being a teen in the mid-90's and being told if you actually want security, you do NOT do Windows. Three decades of their trash and people still haven't learned?

You are wiser than most credentialized cybersecurity "experts," I'm afraid.
