So, these were fine. Tried an online recipe to see if I would learn something new. Nope. Created my own recipes for a reason, for my taste I want layers of flavor. Complexity. These were just…brownies. Fine.

I will say their lack of complexity makes them a delightful accompaniment to strawberries. Likely ice cream as well. Mine have too much going on. If I add a touch of coffee and cinnamon, switch to dark brown sugar….

Well, the tops are nice 🙂. I need brownies now, though. Maybe my son will go out and make some from scratch instead of watching the Phillies game? Hee hee. I'm not that mean. It's a tie right now, plus Kyle Schwarber only needs one run to hit some kind of record or something.
