American women got it disastrously wrong. They should have demanded Harris as and made it clear they would not vote Biden. The vast majority didn't and it played a huge role in this disaster. They are normal humans who made a disasterous mistake not magical totems of your desires.
Biden appointed her as VP over a lot of pushback and was very clear she was his successor. Black women went into the election knowing a lot of non Black Americans see Black women as a support role and not as the leader.
We didn’t get it wrong. We hoped to be proven wrong and were not surprised when we weren’t. We didn’t elect Trump.
