I just canβt anymore.
I just canβt anymore.
He's not the man he said he was. At all.
And far be it from anyone, even those who initially fully supported him, point this out.
I've lost a lot of followers and my engagement dropped the second I criticised him.
Astounding to me that thereβs apparently no room to question or voice disappointment. Itβs not healthy.
There are many who continue to say that Trump is such a threat that we have to allow him some room and that's just not good enough for me. I believe he using Trump to fear monger us and keep Canadians from noticing his Conservative policy being rammed through. No regard for rights.
And hereβs the thing. We are watching in real time a dictator on the rise. Why do we have to allow him room? This is exactly what the world did when Hitler rose to power.
Right. Now is not the time to let every thing they do wrong slide. I mean, the Conservatives voted almost unanimously for everything since Carney took over. It's not suspicious to anyone else that they changed as fast as they did to agreeing with everything the Liberals are doing?
Not sure if I shared this with you or not but this is a good summary of what's wrong with his government. proconsul.ghost.io/canadian-tru...
This particular friend defended C2 and C5 saying but we have to move fast to be self sufficient. By the time our conversation ended there was a different tone. Perhaps he just wanted me to quit talking, or maybe he was thinking a bit harder. I may have also brought up Neville Chamberland.
If Indigenous Canadians have an issue with C-5, we all should. And they obviously don't know that C-2 sets the stage for mass deportations and also give police the power of warrantless searches which is a huge abuse of power - warrants are issued by courts for a reason.
I brought this up to a friend just yesterday, saying does it not give you pause at all that the CPC supports him? No red flags??
For me, it's a huge tell.
