Republicans. Recent poll showed only 2% approval by Dems, and indies down to 29%. Repubs were still like 91%. That said, poll today on Nicolle showed Repubs HAVE dropped from 92% to 83%. KNOW HOPE.

Herbert Hoover still had plenty of support during the Great Depression, IIRC Bush still held onto low 30’s numbers even at the end of his disastrous second term. 30’s is not high, lots of folks will simply refuse to ever admit they made a mistake.

25 to 30% of the country is hard-core Maga. That's part of it.

Some of these folks are simply so committed/have made it their entire identity that they just can’t climb down/admit they were wrong.

Also, if they’re only ever get their “information” from Fox News then they think things are going great, Trump is fixing the system, and the only bad things they experience are cause by Obama and Biden… somehow.
