If five sets is critical then make most rounds out of 3, with the finals (and maybe semis) out of 5, for both men and women.

As an added benefit you eliminate the problem of starting night matches at 7:00 PM such that the second match often has to be played in the middle of the night - a situation neither players nor fans appreciates.
