In Colorado when you get your license at 18 or get your first CO license which iirc you need 2-3 forms of ID showing proof of residence you are automatically registered to vote. It's simple, it's 1 time, and our state has some of the highest election security confidence in the country.

Our only election fraud or issues have been once where a ballot box was forgotten to be grabbed, where Reps tried stuffing boxes because they "knew the dems were" and the very rare immigrant recieving one by mistake which afaik has been always resolved.

Additionallly, our ballots are mailed to us, our primaries are open to unaffiliated voters meaning you can choose which party to vote for representation (only can chose 1) and we can mail our ballots back or return them to a polling station or drop off boxes located in heavy foot traffic areas.

The one caveat I would say with the automatic voter registration in CO through Driver's Licenses is that one can choose to opt out of being registered if desired. But yeah, CO elections are awesome
