This!!!! We need an option to turn that off. At this point there are so many things that pop up over or during chat and it's becoming very crowded and overwhelming.

Ffz has an option to turn it off as far as I know. Sadly the Firefox version is behind a bit compared to Chrome and doesn't have it yet.
