A lot easier in California to do. We don't have many banned books, so I have to reach out to the less classy states and pull from their lists
Which are abundant with options, I'm sure. I tire of saving them.
I work from a list of 100, more than half classic required reading in our time. I doubt one could graduate without at least pretending to have consumed most of these - all of which I'd read more than once before 6th grade. But I also try to keep up with modern stuff.
The number one title that FLIES out of mine is Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. I scarcely turn my back and it's gone again. F451 is hard to move.
