The Biden administration’s fury when Ukraine sank the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet is all you need to know to understand how misguided its “escalation management” policy was. A historic opportunity was lost in 2022. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Biden was right in his initial emotion in March of 2022 was right: 'For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power'. However his team and he himself 'on second though' backtracked from it into some diplomatic balderdash. Sometimes one must follow the instinct.

Trump was right that Biden was weak and ineffective in many ways - only giving Ukraine enough not to loose is one of them

I am afraid that Trump was not the only one with that stellar insight.Trump knows about many things also known to mankind. Like breathing and breaking wind.

If Trump was in power in 2022 he would have let Russia conquer Ukraine and would have called Putin a master conqueror.

I agree, but this started in 2014. Minsk I and II were broken by 2015. We knew everything we needed to know in 2022 and we should have ended Putin right then. Now it’s cost us years more, billions more and hundreds of thousands of people more.

I fully agree but back in 2014 not only Obama but Europeans were reluctant to disconnect from Russia bc it rhymes with oil and gas. While Dems screwed in the beginning Later Russia policy has been cynically exploited by Republicans. Republicans during Biden years strangled in all ways Ukraine issue

Yes pre 2022, it was 100% Europe’s failure too. The UK and Europe but esp Germany were way too dependent on Russian gas. Total risk management failure that 100 years of history should have predicted. But by 2022 all was clear. Europe had better hold its nerve in the face of Trump 🤞🏽

Bro we have been complaining about Biden before 2025. Biden was a limp dick that made the war drag on. Dont need to remind everyone in every statement you make that Trump is worse

Oh those are easiest words to say - Biden was/is a decent man, while Trump is just petty dictator admirer. The problem is not Biden. Biden personally IMO actually saved Ukraine in 2022: reportedly he bent his Dem WH Admin into helping Ukraine. If it was eg Obama - he'd dumped Ukraine in heartbeat.

How did the Biden administration think the Rascists would be defeated in the absence of UA hitting valuable Rashist targets? Or did they want the war to continue foreever? Biden set UA up. He also set the USA up. His presidency must be one the most ill-starred of all.

◻️ This certainly wouldn't have worked in WWI or WWII. But then let's not forget, the UK had a treaty with Poland but was unable to do anything about the German invasion which ended up with German sharing Poland with Russia! For history buffs this is what Hitler was telling his generals in 1939:
