The unpredictability of America for the foreseeable future is more serious than the tariffs themselves. Companies can’t make long-term decisions if policy is made and changed on a whim. Much of the rest of the world will respond by creating U.S.-free supply chains.

🎯 Any remaining – however small – trust in the US administration must be gone by now. Trust is earned through integrity – without it, the US administration faces serious problems.

I've heard isolation is a winning policy platform. Ends well.

Turning off NOA makes even being a farmer harder to do. Agents of chaos. Or just idiots?

This. The idea that burning bridges will raise revenue is one the many reasons economists are calling this, whatever this is, idiotic nonsense. #econsky #trumpstariffs

I think we will see disinflation in European and Asian economies as Chinese goods flow to countries with low barriers or protectionists with slow legislatures. That will juice US inflation with shortages on top of high taxes

🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯 This may also be followed by countries pulling out of their US Treasury Bonds.

Why are all the large US corporations just sitting back and accepting Trump and his Project 2025 cabal, Thiel, Musk & co ruining their businesses?

It is a self-inflicted tragedy for America. What we quickly lose will take a very long to rebuild, if that's even possible. But we shall have to do it once this nightmare ends.

They could lowered corporate taxes, taxes on building manufacturing facilities. Plenty of incentives they could have provided. This is about ego and imaginary grudges.

How ironic if KOTUS manages to unite the rest of the world against the USA, creating a new opposition to its unipolar position. We'll have to thank him...later.

This is exactly the correct analyze. There has not been a consistent policy for a long time in the US. We will move ahead finding other partnerships and trading partners. It is a mistake to think we will just take this laying down. We proceed with plan B.

I have to wonder why a corporation would spend billions of dollars to move their manufacturing plant to the US to avoid tariffs, but then have to pay more tax, higher wages, higher materials cost, higher shipping costs etc, all on the whim of the Emperor. Tariffs that are in place by EO could end.

This is why tariffs are going to destroy America. No one will invest in the factories when in 4 yrs the factory will be too expensive to use because tariffs are gone. And factories take more than a factory. Workers, materials, shipping, rail, ports, ships. We have none of the requirements.

I've already had a full job offer-- the best offer I've ever obtained that was 100% approved and accepted-- get rescinded because of what Trump is doing to markets and cuts to NIH funding.
