Yeah, I'm not going to categorize that as hating trans people. I don't agree with the position (I'm 100 percent let her play), but I do understand why some people don't want trans females competing in women's sports.

That’s just fear speaking. If it was an issue actually, don’t you think there would be clear domination? There is not. There’s already measures in place for fairness. Don’t repeated right wing talking points. These are NOT reasonable concerns.

I didn't repeat anyone's talking points. I told you my position. Read more closely.

“I understand why some people don’t want trans people to compete”… is the right wing talking point being repeated. I understand you are positioned to let people play sports. So don’t give ground to “reasonable concerns” they are not reasonable.

They are reasonable concerns. You or I not agreeing doesn't make it so.

It is unreasonable fear We have systems in place already to facilitate fairness They do not dominate any sport they compete in no “reasonable concerns”, especially from armchair commentators that haven’t touched any sport in 20+ years, that just want to divide along psychological sticky points

No it is not an unreasonable fear. I was a very mediocre college basketball player. In fact, mediocre would be generous since I sat on the end of the bench (granted, on a very good team). I would have been the best or 2nd best female player in my league here in California. I don't think

that should matter, the athletes should just compete. But it is a definite legitimate concern. And the reason trans athletes aren't dominating in women's sports, in my opinion, is because I don't think people transition for sports. never heard of a trans person say they did it to dominate sports

100%, no one transitions to cheat at sports. That’s insane. But that’s the “reasonable concern” undercurrent thinking… They are unreasonable, because those concerns have been addressed… without genital tests, which are wholly unreasonable: and the only way to enforce a ban.

No, they are not unreasonable fears. YOU don't think they're unreasonable. Joe public with a daughter about to play her first varsity game may be concerned. You may not agree, but I definitely do not agree that this = hates trans people. That was what I wanted to know anyway, so thanks for that.

Over the possibility that maybe there is a hint of “unfairness” which again: we have already solved. It is an unreasonable fear. Transphobia: literally.

It is unreasonable. The fear response is out of wack with the “danger” presented. It is not reasonable to fear 0.001% (sports and trans… but only have of trans cause trans men get ignored In these conversations) of the population based on exaggerated tales coming from right wing media. /1
