No. You can want a gun to protect yourself. It's especially prevalent right now with ICE rounding people up with no warning and wearing masks. Yes guns are too easy to get but they shouldn't be banned outright while we have a police force that can't be trusted and a fascist-lite government
I’ve lived in Canada, the UK and Japan. Never was there an issue of wanting to own a gun. In fact in Japan and UK it’s very difficult to get a permit to own a gun. In Canada too gun owners are a rare species. So it’s hard to understand why people n this country feel guns are so necessary.
Because we have enemies foreign and domestic. Unfortunately Canada can't be trusted any longer
The paranoia starts from the top. The US government perceives every other nation as a potential enemy. Sadly it filters down to the lowest of the low who feel the same way about their own neighbors.
Yes we do have contingency plans for every nation on earth. no exceptions
We have domestic enemies and foreign enemies, no secrets there.
