Little Earthquakes, Tori Amos
People who start threads like that really have no idea what music was released in the '90s, do they?
Misread as 'PERFECT album covers from the 90s', but this still works
Yeah. Copper Blue is pretty perfect. I love Bob’s huge guitar sound,

Words of Advice for Young People is a banger.
Why are the hip hop fans neglecting this excellent album? " I dreamt that I was hard "
I was going to put Jurassic Park, but Poledouris's 1990 score to The Hunt for Red October is a classic bit of film music.
So much good stuff… I’d like to add this. I’ve pushed play on this every time my flight hits 10,000 feet.
Saw them last summer, it was awesome
Buying that album at age 15 ensured that I would still be a fanatic hip-hop fan at 45. And it’s been a listen-all-the-way-through-no-skips album the entire time
I find the Soundgarden exclusion/mention odd because I'd argue that Stone Temple Pilots were more successful in the same time period. Purple was #7 in 1994 vs Superunknown #13, despite being released 3 months later. Also funny, #2 in 1994 was Ace of Bass (behind #1 Lion King soundtrack).
Take a trip back to 1994, just a wild time to be a music buyer. Young people driving most music but enough old people buying Kenny G's Christmas album and Yanni Live at the Acropolis 😂
☝️🖤🖤🖤
I went back in this thread quite a ways and didn’t see Lauren Hill? Maybe this site isn’t for me after all.
Spin Doctors is a perfect summation of the 90s because its catchy and fucking annoying
The most correct answer.
It’s possible you’re kidding but I still know every line of this album and I don’t think they ever topped it.

YES
Hell yeah.
Omg yes! Absolutely love this album ❤️
Can a mix count? Because this is such a well-curated and flawlessly mixed (sup Babz) snapshots of mid to late 90’s indie hip hop
No Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, or Alice In Chains? No problem!

Neil Kulkarni’s 2011 reply is a better corrective than anything I could say thequietus.com/articles/087...
Ooooooooo yeah
THANK you
Finally. Been waiting for someone to mention this one for days
The only problem with this album is there really isn’t anything else like it so I just have to re-listen to it again and again.
This and The Low End Theory, brilliant albums.
