I'm in her district and she's running a great campaign. I'm really hoping candidates running in purple and red districts are taking notes on all of this; there are candidates doing great work on campaigns and social media and they should be borrowing those ideas.

okay: in america it is legally impossible to prevent anyone from running as a democrat or republican. if they win the election, they are now a representative. the "party" itself has no power whatsoever to stop them, and is just everyone who did this previously

We de facto have one party, the white nationalist party, and then we have the de facto coalition party, which is “a combination of every regional party which all have the same name but not the same politics, other than not being the white nationalist party”. The latter is like 60+% of people.
