One of em is from town, I bought half of his dad’s record collection. Even though it had already been picked clean it still had great stuff.

I am able to dig the 'planets.

I have turned on 100s of people to the Digable Planets over the years. Jazz samples and hip hop - two great tastes that taste great together. (Still, “Cool like Dat” from their first album gives it the edge over blowout comb)

I used to use Jettin' as a soundcheck the lows and mids are so warm and good

Love to see this. BLOWOUT COMB is one of the deepest & best sounding albums ever made, but “Black Ego” is always my go-to representative track too. Even ends with one of the great jazz guitar solos on record!

Just an amazing musical and cultural experience top to bottom. I still find it baffling that they mostly vanished (were vanished?) after this one.

I got to see them on their 30th anniversary tour of their first album @ the Starland Ballroom. After the show they came down and just talked with a lot of us it was one of the best concert experiences I've ever had
