That's actually a core part of my concept. The executive branch has no single leader, the legislature is unicameral "ABOLISH THE SENATE" and many other changes.

The constitution basically assumes those sorts of laws would be handled at the state level. That's fine as long as most products are produced and consumed locally. It stops working if a single company can ship product to stores across the entire country

I think a lot of this was done at the local and state level until the mid/late 19th century where technology, media, and social change made it such that people could grift on a mass scale that couldn’t be reined in by “well county law says the bread can’t have plaster instead of flour”.

Yeah, I think I agree with that as the right political strategy even as a Never Trump person who left the GOP but still has some actual conservative philosophical views (e.g. Chesterton’s Fence). At this point though, “conservative” means what the people who call themselves that are doing.
Conservatism as described by Edmond Burke and all the apologists for conservatism afterward describe conservatism one way: The accumulation and conservation of power in an aristocratic elite. What Trump is doing is right in line with that definition.
