Always makes me happy to see someone else on their first playthrough. It's one of those games I almost wish I could forget just so I can play it for the first time all over again.

It stumped me and I bounced off it. I should give it another go, probably.

If you do, I reccommend just flying off to another planet for a while if you get stuck on one. There's a ton to explore and it's not super linear. And make sure you check your ship's computer, it will remind you of all the threads you've found to pull.

Oh I don't think I ever knew about the computer? It's been a couple years now so I'm not really sure.

It can be easy to miss early on if you don't spend time poking around your ship. It's really invaluable for keeping track of the game's many many threads of interest. It will automatically take notes on discoveries you make, and other things that they hint towards for you to explore!

I've had the game for about 3 years but I only played it like 2 weeks ago. I can't believe I waited that long to experience it. Going through echoes of the eye now but it's very scary

My question is why they built it with a whole eight settings? Off is one thing, but you've got six up top plus an extra one on the bottom.

Actually you're meant to use the ball to draw a symbol with lines connecting those six nodes up top, then lock it in by sliding it to the other bottom side.

Okay, so different symbols could maybe be different settings, that shower scroll better tell the secrets of which symbols are which though.

Yeah, when I ask a question like that it's not because I can't figure it out on my own, I just don't WANT to. I'd rather know how to do it and be relaxing. It feels like asking how to piolet a Jump Jet and the instructor is just like "No worries, you'll figure it out."

And the worst part is when you tell them this feeling in hopes of explaining it, and they just give you a weird look and say something stupid like "....are you serious? It's a shower." Like, thanks Captain Obvious.
