I think that they’re both asexual like Noah Smith. They very clearly do not actually enjoy sex and only like the idea of it.

Elon is, above all, pretty autistic, and his personality is driven by a need to fit in and be perceived as normal (but like, special-normal, not NPC normal). Also, once you teach him how to directly stimulate his amygdala for that sweet, sweet reward, he just can't help himself. He's an addict.
